Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy

EasySpace is committed to conducting business with integrity and transparency. We believe in operating responsibly and ethically in all aspects of our business, including strict adherence to anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws in Malaysia, particularly the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (MACC Act) and any subsequent amendments.

This policy outlines our commitment to prevent bribery and corruption, which applies to all employees, directors, officers, contractors, agents, and other third parties working on behalf of EasySpace.

Scope of Policy

This Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy (the “Policy”) applies to all individuals at all levels of the company, including full-time, part-time, and temporary employees, consultants, contractors, agents, or any other person associated with the company. It covers activities both within Malaysia and in any other country where we operate.

1. Zero Tolerance to Bribery and Corruption

EasySpace has a zero-tolerance policy toward bribery and corruption. We prohibit the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of any item of value as a means to influence the actions of an individual, organisation, or government body.

2. Gifts, Hospitality, and Entertainment

Gifts, hospitality, and entertainment (collectively “Gifts”) are only acceptable if they are reasonable, appropriate, and in line with local business practices. Employees must avoid any actions or arrangements that could be perceived as an attempt to gain improper influence. Any gift or hospitality must be approved by the relevant department.

3. Facilitation Payments

Facilitation payments are not allowed. Facilitation payments are unofficial payments made to expedite a routine government action. All employees are prohibited from offering, promising, or authorising any such payments.

4. Reporting and Whistleblowing

All employees and third parties working on behalf of EasySpace are encouraged to report any concerns or suspicions of bribery or corruption. Reports can be made confidentially to hello@easyspace.asia. Retaliation against employees or others who report such concerns in good faith will not be tolerated.

5. Record Keeping

Accurate and complete records must be kept for all transactions and dealings. All accounts, invoices, and other documentation must be prepared with strict accuracy and honesty, reflecting the true nature of each transaction.

6. Monitoring and Review

The Company will monitor the effectiveness of this Policy and conduct regular reviews to ensure it remains current, relevant, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

7. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

EasySpace commits to adhering to the MACC Act and all other relevant anti-corruption laws. Breach of this Policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract, and may be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
